Top 10 Deodorants 🇦🇺

Deodorant is part of many people’s daily routines, but choosing from the many products available isn’t always easy, especially when trying to find options that are safe for you and your family.

Some deodorants contain ingredients that raise concerns for human health, like aluminium salts, which is why it’s worth taking a closer look at what you’re applying to your skin every day.

I switched to No Pong a couple of years ago and it has been great. I just wanted to mention for folks commenting on the price of these products, my little can of No Pong lasts about 4 times longer than a spray can used to last me. I definitely feel like it works out to be less cost overall, but best of all, for me personally, I feel a lot better about home much less packing I am producing 🙂

Love seeing these clean, high-rated deodorants — it’s great that Yuka highlights truly better options for health-conscious users. However, the prices (averaging ~$25 per 100ml/g) put them out of reach for many everyday Australians, especially with the cost of living. Could future rankings include more affordable supermarket/chemist options that still score well (even if not 90+), or a budget-friendly filter? Many of us want to make healthier swaps but need realistic prices. Thanks for the helpful guide!”

The only thing we miss, because we eat gluten free, is that it doesn’t show if there is gluten in the product. However we do appreciate being shown what products have additives to avoid, in which case we put the product back on the shelf and keep checking for what is safe using your app, so thank you, much appreciated.

I was getting a rash from Nivea rollon and wanted to move away from Aluminium based rollons so I tried No Pong and it doesn’t stop sweating unfortunately. So you eventually end up smelly and sweaty halfway through the day. I then tried Dermal in the spray and the rollon which I prefer. It stings a tiny bit due to the salts if your pores are open but it actually controls sweat. You stay dry and odour free with Dermal and no cakey mess on you clothes like most of the other formulas that have oils or waxes or starches.

Highly recommend Dr Organics Lavender which your app rates at 94%
Most other deodorants tried have left me with either raw irritated armpits, stinky armpits after a few hours and / or yellow, sticky residue on clothing 🙁
Can no longer use No Pong, Noosa Basics, Axilla for reasons above. Maybe scientific findings on ingredients AND user feedback too, so many natural ingredients deodorants would not be for long term use…and of course they’re more expensive to “buy and try.”

Woohoo is the only natural deodorant that has worked for me, most of the others gave me a rash. The Wild deodorant is exceptionally overpriced for what you get and the roll on version is dreadful, the packaging is appalling for a deodorant at this price

Hi it would be really good if you could review deodorant that the everyday person can afford. Who buys $ 37 deodorant?

This is great. Next time please provide recommendations by price range. It would be good to have something under under 10 Australian dollars

I would not recommend Lemon Myrtle Deodorant – Noosa Basics. It is very hard and thus rough on the skin.

There’s a brand called fussy that I discovered. From the UK but now selling at coles and it’s excellent. The best natural deodorant I’ve used that actually works.

Ive been using the Moogoo deodorant and have found it and indeed all there products to be very safe and very effective. 5 gold stars. Its about time our Govt. followed suit and rewarded these companies, and not allowed the ones using so many lethal toxins.

I’ve tried lots of natural deodorants. Some don’t stop odour or only work for a while. Then I tried No Pong and found it very effective. I’ve been using it for a few years and also love that it’s available in the supermarket.

I have been using No Pong bicarb free for years. It’s the only deodorant that I have found to work. $11 from supermarket, cheaper direct (plus postage)

I have been using the Myaura deodorants for some time and really like them, but they seem to have disappeared from the market. Not sure if they’re still in business. Their facebook page seems to indicate they’re MIA

You didn’t test the natural crystal deodorants which is 100% chemical free. It is not an antiperspirant but perspiring is good for you. We have been using them for over 10 years.

I’m using MYAURA Watermelon at the moment and love it. Very glad that one of my friends told me about the Yuka app. I have recommended it to a lot of people. Even tell strangers at the shops about the app, when they are looking at products and they usually thank me for sharing it. Do all my shopping with the Yuka app.
