I knew Beekman 1802 would make this 100% clean products list. Hand lotions are never sticky or oily. Their shampoos, conditioners, deodorant, scalp treatments, dish and laundry soaps, etc. are all 100%.

These creams may not be beneficial enough to help. They are judged more based on what’s not in them and not the ingredients needed to keep hands moisturized. You need hyaluronic acid to maintain moisture, ceramides to protect your skin barrier, and possibly urea.

  66. Sue K

I use Aveeno Daily Moisturizing Cream in a tub on my hands and whole body because Yuka gave it a rating of 100/100 when I first got the app. It’s nice to know that there are options for creams in a tube with that incredible rating (versus tub…cuz it doesn’t fit so well in my purse)! Note: I used Yuka back then to check Aveeno DMC in a tube and a pump lotion with a significantly lower rating and that is unfortunate because it gives the notion that it is as safe as the tub version. Bottom line…everyone needs the Yuka app!!

I truly appreciate what you do – you provide an invaluable resource. Still, not everyone can afford hand creams or other products that cost as much as gold. I realize that it’s a bit of a compromise but it would be helpful to those of us who don’t do all our shopping at Whole Foods if you could recommend more solidly good products that are more affordable to more people. Look at Boom products- love their Boomsilk for my face, only product I’ve ever used on my face and don’t break out and I’m 66 yrs old. Only made from Olive oil, water, beeswax, honey and Vit E. So I put it on my eyes and lips too. Love their Boomsilk cream and would slather it on my whole body if it were cheaper. Basically just use olive oil or coconut oil on the rest of my body.

JULIE, some passed (100%) products have non-organic, GMO oils (usually listing their botanical names). I’m worried about glyphosate residue in otherwise clean cosmetics. I had an AI search for me and it had a very difficult time finding 100% safe examples! What do you think —is perfect impossible? Thank you!

If you look at it in the app, the picture will give it to you in ounces if available. Not all products do so they needed a common ground to compare it to

That’s the price per 50ml. The packaging you’re finding is probably larger.
