I’ve been using Native for awhile. I’d like to point out that the efficiency of your deodorant not only depends on your personal body chemistry but also your diet. If you’re noticing that multiple deodorants are not working, take a second look at your diet and water intake

Every Man Jack does not control odor. My son tried it and didn’t have to mention that fact. That tells you everything you need to know. Just FYI for people still on the hunt the for the right clean product.

Hello there, I am wondering if it would be helpful to have a list of the deodorants that scored 80 or 85 and above since there are some on the list that don’t work for folks giving them a few more options. Also wondering where Lume or Northcoast Organica Death By Lavender ranks.

I think efficacy can be hard to rank because something that works for me hasn’t worked for my twin sister and we share DNA! It’s really individualized as to whether a product works for you.

I have tried a few of these (Toms, Schmidts and Humble) and they did not work well for me. I am still on the search for one that actually works. I am curious as to why the Warm Vanilla Curie deodorant received a rating of 47/100 when I scanned it the other day, but this particular scent you tested was higher. I appreciate this app, it really comes in handy when you’re at the store! Please rate feminine products!

Nothing Bad is incredibly effective. It can be a little dense and may stick to clothes but the key is to apply very little. I have tried the lavender one and it is very strong (in a good way). I have never tried the unscented ones, though. Zero smell.

You have to try them and see what works for you. I have friends who love certain ones and they work great for them, but then not for me. Everyone’s body chemistry is different. I recently purchased the “hello” brand and had no issues the first few days. Then closer to the end of my work day I had a smell. So would have to re-apply. Worked better than the Schmidt’s one for me. My sister loves Schmidt’s. I think I’ve preferred Tom’s so far.

When I’ve checked Lume, it’s got a poor rating. Many of the stick deodorants contained Ozokerite (potential carcinogen). It’s possible that they have changed their ingredients, which is common for a smaller company to do when they need to meet the increased demand.

Thanks for these ratings but I do have a question. Why would you rank Diet Coke or any aspartame product good?

    Reply
    1. Donna

Allow me if you will. You are asking a 💯 legit question because anything with aspartame is clearly “ toxic” the FDA allows it to pass laughable “ strict” guidelines and continue to be mass produced in spite of the often times fatal harm it inflicts on the human body. My daughter in law was diagnosed with ALS 15 + years ago and she consumed “ Diet Coke” everyday & sometimes several times in a day! Although they do not know the exact cause of this fatal disease her neurological did suspect aspartame had been linked to her unfortunate demise. She passed after battling this awful disease for 15+ years leaving behind three sons and a devoted husband. I personally know from my own personal experience with aspartame it gives me severe headaches and avoid it at all costs. Like everything else we are seeing as the scales are removed from our eyes 👀 corruption is in ALL facets of life. Sadly for the love of money!!! You can not trust any man when it comes to “ truth” lean on God and research / advocate for yourself just as we are to do with our eternal salvation. I say this simply because if your seeking you will find., Aspartame is a killer! Do not be fooled by anything less than the truth and the truth will reveal itself once researched. The FDA is corrupt!!! 😞 😔 😢 they seek money over the life of human beings. Continue to do your own research and while at it use the word of God. There’s the one and only truth. PERIOD.

I’m a tough case. Lume works well for me. It took my body some time to get used to it, like some bacteria that needed to be killed off or decolonized. Now it works really well for my B.O. I use the cream version and rub in a pea size real good of the toasted coconut. Love it. It’s pricey but lasts. I’m going to try Hello next. That one is working for my daughter. I think it’s a less expensive copy cat.

Since I started using YUKA , I’ve been sharing it with everyone, and my friends, family are now using it too. I thank my best friend, Madeline, introduced me to this fantastic app. Previously, as a retired nutritionist, I spent countless hours reading labels in supermarkets to ensure I chose the best products for my family. WithYUKA , I spend less time shopping; all I need to do is scan and find what I need. It’s fantastic! I highly recommend it to everyone. I couldn’t be happier. Hello,
After using your paid services, for about a year; I am feeling disappointed and I feel like you have lied about some of the products. I see that you are saying the products are safe and excellent but has more chemicals then other products per the EWG.org website. I am going to move to them and pay them because they are watching what is harmful to my body. You focus shouldn’t be about calling out a product bad because it has sugar but you should down grade a product because the chemical can use things like cancer. It’s world biggest problem killing over 10mm people worldwide.

Example of the hello toothpaste is not good and I bought it after your recommendation. (Kids toothpaste) are they paying you for marketing. EWG.org website is saying it’s baf toothpaste and you are guys are saying it’s good. The TOM toothpaste is good per EWG but you are guys it’s bad. Something very fishy very unprofessional behavior. EWG a big fish in the pond and you little fish will be eaten and po*** out. No tanks.

Second, not sure where you are from but I couldn’t understand half of what you “wrote”. And 3rd, the “big guys” are the problem in the world putting all of the cancer causing s**t in our food and other products. Oh, and the Yuka app is FREE! Again, YOUR choice to pay the fee. I use Yuka and I use the free version and have no problem at all with this app! Keep up the great work Yuka! =)

A simple and yet very effective deodorant is hydrogen peroxide
Have used it on a cotton ball and covers each pit well
        It’s amazing
It’s not an antiperspirant so after
Drying I use one of several of the listed types (I’ve used most of them)
That combo is inexpensive and works well – I work out and swim 3-4 days of week besides working in a hospital setting in ADMIN …
Also have used organic food grade hydrogen peroxide – easy to mix with pure water source and put in frig in glass jar
It won’t break down as quickly.
